Hello~I'm Buppy/Alicia! (They/Them)

I am a Queer Taiwanese-American Artist handmaking illustrated goods. My live pet portraits have been very popular at in person events! I hand draw a custom portrait of a pet with a sumi ink brushpen and markers on a 5" by 5" Japanese shikishi board. Every portrait is very cute and one of a kind.

Handmaking since 2018, I’ve vended at over 100 art shows in the Bay Area and internationally. Inspired by my own rescue dogs, BUPPYDOGS is an independently owned smol business filled with passion projects from the heart. With disarmingly cute illustrations, I share introspective stories about my lived experience with mental health, neurodivergence, and queerness. I mainly work in traditional mediums such as ink and printmaking. I hope my illustrations can reassure my community of emotional safety and connection!

My passion and strength also lies in interactive workshops. Teaching Screenprinting and Zine workshops for all ages at local libraries and Sjmade craft shows. Intentionally building safe spaces to nurture community and creative expression. Thank you for visiting (*´ω｀*)

Select Artshows: SJMade, Crunchyroll Expo, SacAnime, Taipei Art & Book Fair
